"I have been very pleased with this car so far. I down graded from a half ton silverado to this because of money but have been suprised with how much I like it. So many cool features, and great fuel economy. I drive 22 miles one way to work which is half city and half highway and average around 27-28 mpg, but I watch my speed try to get the mpg I can. Overal view of this car is that its great and would recomend it to anyone."

"I traded my Cadillac CTS for the LTZ. No regrets! I handles well and the mileage is much better than expected. Using the cruise control, I get at least 30 mpg."

"This vehicle is amazing!!! I'm very happy with my milage as I am averaging 26.5 mpg both city and highway with my V-6. I got the LTZ and could not be more happy with all the equipment and performance. It's a very solid ride that is equally quiet inside. XM is cool and mine also has blue tooth built in so it's aesy to follow the new law here in California. If you are considering a vehicle in this class the Malibu is truely the best in class."

"Overall, I love this car! It's the first new car that I have owned. However, I have had several problems. When I bought it their was a chip on the front hood...dealership had no problem fixing it. It took them 2 tries to get it right. Then I noticed there were scratches all over my windows!! I don't know if it was the window seal of what, but I was not happy with that so I am doing a trade for another Malibu. It's a smooth ride and I love the interior. It was a 2LT V6, I was getting about 23 combo mpg... more city tho. Definatly a great car, just be careful with the windows!!"

"i have owned my malibu ls 6 cyl. for approx. 2 months and i love it. i drive mostly in town and approx. 38 miles a day i get 27.5 mpg and i think it is great with gas the way it is. i traded in a chryseler pacifica for this car used and it is very comparable to the pacifica in my opinion the ride is great,styling is great and who can complain going from 18.5 mpgs to 27.5 mpgs both with 6 cyl. i love this car i am not a gm person prefer ford but i would probably but the mailibu again when i wear this one out."

"I have the LT2 with the V-6 option. I read all the reviews before buying one and I can say that all the reviews are right on the mark. The ride is smooth as silk. A elegantly designed interior. Very quiet inside the compartment. Love the seat lumber and comfort of the seats and the ability of adjusting pedels for my wife. Very nice interior design. The paddles on the steering wheel is another nice idea. You get the best of 2 worlds, automatic and the feel of standard shifting. Getting 19 MPG so far. It has all the safety features I would like in a vehicle. Air bags all around, traction control, stability control, disk brakes all around, adjustable height for seat belts, telescoping wheel and height adjustable, tire inflation alarm, radio controls on steering wheel , rear view mirrors that adjust to rear vision lights automatically, digital read outs on gas milage,oil,outside temperture reading, compass, I could go on & on. Plenty of cup holders on console and on doors. Also in rear. Ample storage in console and glove box. Big trunk and rear seats fold down for long items in trunk. All in all , a very well designed vehicle from Chev. The 6 cyl has tremendous pep. I wanted that getting onto the highways & expressways on Long Island. I've stayed away from Chev for years, not being happy about reviews of various year cars. The 2008 Malibu has restored some faith in me."

"I first saw the new Malibu on display in my local mall and I couldn't believe that it was a Chevy-it looks like something much more expensive. My husband and I compared side view photos of a Lexus that he likes and they look very similar. I'm a stay at home mom, so we couldn't afford to spend a fortune on a new vehicle. We wanted something affordable and safe, that got good gas mileage. Never did I imagine that we could get all of that in car that is actually nice to look at and doesn't feel like a boring family car. Beautiful styling! Nice interior, has all of the must-have features. It is so much fun to drive! I will be driving my kids around in this car, so the safety features are very important to me. The Malibu has ABS, Stabilitrak, OnStar, Five-Star safety ratings all around, and side curtain airbags. The remote start is a nice perk. All of this at an amazing price...bravo GM! We traded a Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited in on a 4 cyl. LT1 in Silverstone Metallic with an Ebony interior for a price I'd never think possible for such a nice car. It's fun to see other drivers checking out my car, since there aren't many Malibus on the road yet. I'd recommend this car to any of them!"

"I haven't had this car but a week, but I totally love it. Chevrolet did a great job in redesigning the Malibu. I test drove a Ford Fusion, Nissan Altima, the Malibu and an Impala. I also looked at the Pontiacs. The Malibu won me over. Its exterior is sporty but classy looking and the interior doesn't lack anything at all. I love the two-tone leather. It drives and rides great!"

"I bought the 2008 Malibu in the middle of January, it looked beautiful in the showroom. However I could not get a good look at it outside without snow on it, which is where I should have. Salt and dirt from winter driving hid the fact that the paint on the bumpers doesn,t match the cars body, when noticed and complained, GM and dealer say it,s NORMAL, will not repair. LOOK CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU BUY A GM!!!!!"

"Love the tight handling and smooth ride. Lots of storage space. Very stylish! The only thing I would change is the head room when getting in and out of the car. There isn't a lot of space. And you cannot close the vents in the LS model."

"I have been purchasing GM cars for the last 30 years. I can truly say that this Malibu is the best car Chevy has ever made. I have owned a red, 2LT for almost 4 months now and it even gets looks from local Lexus, Infinity, Acura, drivers when I pull up next to them at a gas station. That isn't why I bought it though. I've never owned a 4 cylinder car before --I bought the 4 to save gas now that it's $3.50 a gallon--and I can say I don't miss a 6 cylinder. Traffic is so congested in my area that even a 4 cyl has too much power. Gas mileage has steadily increased while breaking in and I have gotten over 30 mpg on a long trip on the highway recently. Handling is better than expected. It takes the roads curves and quick lane changes better than any car I've ever had. It is also smooooth to drive. Being very quiet inside the cabin is noticed right away when you start driving. You can hold a normal conversation very easily. I didn't get the LTZ as the only interior choices are two- two toned leathers that in my opinion are shockingly ugly. The 2LT's interior is the best looking of them all. I dickered my price down to invoice and also had $2,300 available on my GM card to apply to the purchase. The price I finally paid was a bargain for such a quality car. This was the best car purchase I have ever made!"

"It's not easy to impress me with a car, but this one blew me away! Fit and finish is near perfect, value is incredible, interior is near perfect. My neighbor asked me "Is that a Lexus?" This is a GM car?!?! Are you kidding me?!? I NEVER believed Chevy would make a car I wanted, but this one is it. It simply is awesome.
