"I bought my Nissan Altima back in 2004 with 54, 000 miles on it. I now have over 109,000 miles on it now and it has been a very reliable car. I have taken many trips to Portland, Oregon from Idaho and it has done great on gas mileage. I would recommend this car to anyone in the market for a good used vehicle."

"Recently I was rear ended by a Chevy dually pickup, the trunk and rear was destroyed. The Altima took the damage I was not hurt and the car was still drivable."

"I haven't had any problems from the car.
I purchased it used some 3 yrs ago and it works just fine. I had a Nissan Sentra almost 10 yrs ago and I just recently purchased a Nissan Pathfinder. I would definetly suggest purchasing from the Nissan family."

"My wife and I have had a 1999 for over 5 years. Bought it used with 40k, and have never had a real problem with the car. It has 125,000 miles on it now and still runs as good as ever. Nissan built a quality car."

"I purchased this vehicle as a rental return from Enterprise in the 1st quarter of the year 2000. I am very pleased with the decision I made to purchase this 1999 Nissan Altima GXE 4) Door Sedan Driving this vehicle has always been a pleasure, as the ride is very comfortable, and I still enjoy driving it after owning it for 7+ years! "I bought my '99 Altima in 2003 and it has roughly 68,000 miles on it. This car is great!...totally reliable and it is fun to drive and handles great. In five years, I've only had to replace the front struts and the alternator. I don't think that's bad at all for a car that is 9 years old!"

"I really like the Altima, it is comfortable and reliable and drives nice. The small problems it does have, however, are rather annoying. The rubber door lining (whatever it's called) keeps coming off, constantly. And my driver's side window gets stuck constantly. Other than that, things have gone rather well, and this car has been in our family almost it's whole life."

"I bought my 2000 Altima brand new and haven't had one mechanical issue. Regular maintainence and normal ware items but that's it. I just got new struts and it drives like it's brand new. Great on gas and fun to drive. The only beef I have is that that the leather seats wore very quickly."

"I bought my 1998 Nissan Altima GXE used a couple summers ago and it has roughly 152,000 miles on it! I've only had a few problems that have needed shop work but none the less- I love my Nissan! I'm hoping my next car will be a Nissan Altima Hybrid! My Altima has been extremely reliable, only 1 break down over 2 years and is comfortable. Also- great gas mileage, I drive around a lot in the city and get roughly 30-32mpg. The only couple of things that could be improved are the window mechanics and the way the back seats go down if you want something large to put in the trunk that also would need to be in the back seat, it's hard to fit anything really wide...otherwise, it's great! Go NISSAN!!!!!"

"I've had this car for 11 years. Bought it with 58,000 miles on it. It has questionable reliability. I've had new front brakes 3 times, back-1 time (city driving), new tires, water pump, radiator, alternator, shocks/struts, new dashboard dimer switch (I lost all my lights on my dashboard), new on/off switch for air/heat (it would only work on high) and a new air conditioner. The driver side window is the only window that works and the back, passenger side door lock does not automatically lock. Oil has been changed every 3-3.5K and has received a tune up. The car made it from Chicago to Boston without a problem. All this being said, I still really love this car as it feels very solid on the road.....and probably because it feels so familiar after sitting in it for 11 years."
